SEPTEMBER SHOOT

WOW, What a weekend at the Manning Great Lakes Archers club recently. The ABA NNSW Branch held the ABA titles at our club.

Around lunch time on the Friday, until Friday night, there were cars arriving, vans and tents being set up. It looked more like a caravan park than a club camping area.

The weather wasn't looking the best for the weekend of the shoot; the eighty nine archers thought they were going to get wet. Then on Saturday, the weather took a turn for the best with the sun coming out, making it a beautiful day as was Sunday.

The canteen had a very busy weekend; this could have been because of the delicious meals that were served. A huge thank you to the canteen staff.

Everyone had a great weekend, many going home with trophies.
