National Safari - Mildura

Over the Easter Long weekend 12 Manning Archers packed up their swags and archery gear and travelled south to Mallee Sunset Archery Club in Mildura to compete in the National Titles.

Held over 4 days with 360 archers turning up for this event and most people shooting in both the ABA round and the 3D round it made for a very challenging weekend with some very fierce competition between zones and clubs.

The days were hot and dry and the ranges were dusty and very deceiving making for a challenging shoot with no archer getting the perfect 400 all though one of our archers Wes Bull shot 398.

These were our winners and placings in their individual divisions

JNRS ABA & 3D

Ella Hartcher 1st place 3D 1st place

Jack Bull 4th place 3D 6th place

Jack Brett 3rd place 3D 3rd place

Adam Mowbray 2nd place 3D 1st place

James Fotheringham 3rd place 3D 1st place

SNRS ABA

Liam Mowbray 1st place 3D 1st place

Mark Mowbray 3rd place 3D 1st place

Wes Bull 2nd place 3D 3rd place

Tony Hartcher 3rd place

Mark Fotheringham 11th place 3D 5th place

Bob Wilson 5th

Thanks to all our Archers who made the effort to travel away and to Mick Brett our 12th archer who retired due to illness better luck next time.

LOST and FOUND

There was a archer who asked at the canteen a few times if a bow stand had been handed in at the March Shoot. At that time no one had and I don't remember which club he was from.

A week after the shoot one of our members found the bow stand. I hope you see this notice.

Club contact details on the right side of the screen.
