SUPER 14 SHOOT

Wow what a weekend. The super 14 shoot that was held at the Manning District Bowhunters last weekend, seemed to be a great success, with shooters coming from many clubs, hoping they had a great time.

There where around twenty shooters, which was really good to see. With  cold weather, or should we say, freezing cold weather at night, but beautiful weather through the day.

The shoot was held to give the archers, who are going to America, extra practice time.

A big thank you to Dan for keeping hot water up to the shooters, clean toilets and wood for their fires which was so needed.

Also, to every member that was involved with the running of the super 14 shoot, thank you very much.

A huge thank you to Ray Bennett, Wally Job and John T, for all their help in the canteen on the weekend and Karl Peck. Their help was invaluable in the canteen.

There are three other young people that need to be thank big time and that is the canteen managers three grandsons, Ryce, Jake and Harley Hardy, also for their invaluable work in the canteen. They made teas, coffees, toast, put drinks in ice, bagged pies, set up the salt, pepper, sauces and cutlery on the counter for the shooters. Their biggest job was washing and drying the dishes, that only cost a drink from their Nan. Fantastic job boys, love you Nan.

Hope to see as many of you back for our shoot on the 13th - 14th September.
