Practice Butt Challenge

Practice Butt Challenge

The concept of the Practice butt challenge has so far been popular with Manning shooters and several teams have already lodged good scores.  There is still time to put a team together if you have not already done so in preparation for the next scheduled shoot which is the 9th November.  That is a Saturday and all are welcome to camp over and prepare the 3D range for the up coming shoot on Sunday 10th November.  Score sheets for the Practice butt challenge are on the notice board.

  IFAA Animal Round

On Sunday the 20th October the club held an IFAA Animal round which was well attended by shooters and from feedback received, thoroughly enjoyed as well.  This facet of IFAA has not been held at this club for quite some time and I was informed by Max Hardy on the day that the  "virgin" targets we were shooting he had actually made up a while ago when he was range captain.  IFAA Animal round is not often seen but if you ever intend shooting at Nationals or State IFAA you will encounter it.  In the year to come I hope to provide at least two rounds of IFAA Animal as part of the normal Field and Hunter rounds.  I would like to personally thank those who shot on Sunday for their support.

Phil Steele
Range Captain.
