AVON VALLEY SHOOTS

In a recent shoot, a small group of Manning archers travelled to Avon Valley Field Archers club, to compete in the IFAA branch titles. The weather was stunning for the weekend, which from previous occasions is a rarity. The ranges were challenging, as one would expect with a Field round shot on the Saturday and a Hunter round on Sunday.  Each Manning members came away with a good result.

Also recently, another group of Manning archers travelled again to compete in the ABA State titles. After a very cold Friday night, the day turned into a beautiful day. Sunday also was fine, but a tad hotter. Who would have thought we could have had two weekends at Avon Valley, with splendid weather. The ranges were very challenging, keeping archers guessing at each shot. Again Manning showed how competitive we can be, with both Luke and Mitchell Agnew been awarded 390 badges, also taking out 1st places in their respective divisions.
